Would love to see this happen! www.thetournament.com/teams/20th-olneyLooks like Jerrell and Steve are the 2 guys signed up so far. It appears that if enough of us log on there and become fans that their team could get into the tournament. I know it was played in Philly last summer (at Textile, I think) and may be the same this year. Would be nice to see some of the recent grads playing overseas like Steve Smith and Rodney Green get involved.

My buddy Russell Carter (Notre Dame, 2007) was on the winning team last year with other ND alums...they won a nice chunk of change.

They need 100+ registered fans to qualify, and then need to be selected from our region. Nearly halfway there. I like that the first three rounds are in Philly, so maybe we'll be able to see some early round action.

Steven Smith and Garland added to roster.
"We will have 5 guys from our 2012-13 sweet 16 team. In addition to those 5 we are bringing in a few very talented alumni that have produced both in college and professionally. I think with the chemistry, size, and guard play 20th & Olney has a strong chance to make some noise in the TBT. As long as all our pieces fall into place, we should make a long run in this tournament." - Andrew McGlynn

How do I vote? I just registered... If you selected 20th & Olney during registration you should count towards the 100 votes needed. Otherwise you can go to their profile and select them, as well as use a referral link to get credit for other subscribers.

Whoever put the TBT together is a marketing genius. I can't wait for July to come and see this team play. There should be a good buzz about this as we approach the summer.

When Zack gets drafted in the first round of the NBA draft, he'll probably need to drop out of this...

When Zack gets drafted in the first round of the NBA draft, he'll probably need to drop out of this... I sat next to a scout looking at Steve his junior year. Liked height and passing ability, but said without the ability to hit a 3, a very consistent mid-range game, or more bulk to rebound, was going to be tough going. Neither of those things happened. The shooting touch surprises me. If he developed the ability to hit a 17-footer...Jerrell would have had much more space. Doesn't fit the G offense.

I'd say a lack of shooting and passing ability from our backcourt caused more issues for JW. It was not our 6-11 center's job to anchor the D AND space out opponents. Steve's high/low passing was invaluable when our backcourt all too often couldn't find entry angles against sagging Ds

20th and Olney need to get their votes up. Any chance this team misses the cut? They need top 18 ranking in fan votes in their region to be safe.

In talking with the organizers, even if 20th and Olney don't get enough votes they'll probably get an At-Large. The Northeast is heavily skewed as that region has the majority of voter exposure so it's more difficult to break the Top 18. That Syracuse alumni team is going to be a tough one to beat. How come everyone is making 95k except for Jerrell, who is at 90k. Guy needs a better agent.

I am kind of late in all of this .
So we will be playing in Philadelphia definitely? Or do we have to qualify?
Thanks all and happy summer!

Oh man, there needs to be a way to remove the TBT part. The top symbol is great.

If you haven't signed up yet, the 1st Round Byes will be set after Sunday, so you have 3 days to vote. Right now we're tied for 5th, but the team that's 9th is only like 30 votes behind us so we could still possibly get caught (steep dropoff after 9).
Really easy to sign up, so go ahead and do it!
