In the bonus already. Ugh.
I want to know where they got this color guy from. He sounds like a real bozo.

We're playing right into their hands. We have both Wright and Zack in at the same time.

Too many east shots it's a good thing Towson can't shoot jumpers

I usually oppose stall ball but I like it here. I don't want Price jacking quick shots here.

I usually oppose stall ball but I like it here. I don't want Price jacking quick shots here. I don't mind stall ball per se, but G always goes into it way too early. Too many times I've seen them lose momentum because they went into it too soon. It won't hurt them tonight probably, but I still say attack until about 2:00 to go.

Really can't complain.
Price has impressed me.
Nice to see Stukes and Shuler get some good action. Both are going to be good players for our explorers.
Next up Hofstra.... going to be tough

Columbia gave UK all they could handle last week at Rupp before losing by 10.
La Salle will probably be an underdog against Hofstra.
Congrats to the Explorers for today's much needed win. Price carried the team on his back offensively. Zack had a good day on defense with 13 rebounds and 3 blocks. The defense forced Towson into 0-13 from 3. At one point Towson had zero assists and 13 turnovers (La Salle had 7 steals). Explorers were 25-30 from the line.
Shuler and Stukes handled themselves well today. Especially, when La Salle was milking the clock at the end.

The last 60 minutes (in regulation) we've played well, especially on the defensive end. We need to continue the effort, and I hope we start seeing the team to finally gel, and get used to each other. I think we need to continue to get the ball into Jordan's hands, and let him take control of the game, but not get too crazy with the shot selection. Quite frankly, we should be able to play with any A10 team going into the season. Except for maybe VCU, no team really scares me in the league. Dayton kicked off two centers on the team, so they don't have any player over 6-6. They will still be a factor, but this is a pretty big hit for them.

Just wanted to add my two cents into the conversation regarding the Towson game. With this team, any win is a good win especially on the road. Defensive intensity was evident from the opening tip combined with low turnovers should always lead to a win.
Steve and Jerrell still need to finish at the rim...combined I believe they were 6 for 20. Amar and (I think it was) Khalid have to recognize where they are in the shoot clock. One shoot clock violation and I think one forced shoot very late in the shoot clock. When pressed, we need a better inbounds play...maybe it was a freshman mistake but having Schuler running into the corner, getting trapped and then steping on the side line is not good. It might be small stuff, but it adds up and demonstrates that this team could be better.
Still a good win overall.
