For a diversion, the La Salle women's basketball team has games at LIU Brooklyn on both Friday and Saturday as well. They go at 2PM on Friday, and again 4:30PM on Saturday. This venue is about 1 mile from the Barclay center, where our men's team plays Friday at 9:30 PM.
Hotwire has a Brooklyn Area 2 star boutique hotel for $109/night ($133 after taxes and fees), and a 2.5 star for $133/night ($170 after taxes and fees)

The release says there are tickets from our office but does not offer a price. 215-951-1999. Use " Classic" promo code for a discount through ticketbastard (spelled this way to take their paid ad off my post): $5 off $30 seats, $12 off mid range seats, and $17 off the $90 seats. barclayscenterots.com/Special_Offer_LaSalle.htmlThere do not appear to be additional fees, so $25 to $73 is the cost for each doubleheader through this offer at ticketbastard website.

Just got the e-mail blast from goexplorers confirming the ticket prices are $25 to $73 per doubleheader. barclayscenterots.com/Special_Offer_LaSalle.htmlA reminder to anyone staying in Brooklyn and looking to make it to another game or two, the La Salle women's BBall team has day games in the same neighborhood (but different venue) at LIU Brooklyn, at 2 pm on Friday and 4:30 pm on Saturday.

Sorry to thread hijack, but I figured this was preferable to starting a new one for a one-off question.
I'm thinking of driving up to St. Louis for the game this season. Is there any way I can get tickets through La Salle so I can sit in the visitors' section (however small it may be)?

Email tickets@lasalle.edu or call the ticket office at 215-951-1999 they should be able to help you out.

Brilliant, thanks. I was actually going to inquire as to your availability that weekend, but we can work that out later.

On the STL topic, I think it is deserving of its own thread, so that I can add my own two cents, having made that trip bunches of times or eight.
Anyone going to Brooklyn?

WOMEN'S basketball? Seriously?? Who gives a ! If you're in Brooklyn to support the Explorers, it kind of makes sense to consider going to both games if you are aware of it and have no better excuse not to go, and my purpose for writing about it is just that I didn't see it advertised elsewhere. I was hardly aware myself until this week that the two tourneys lined up so conveniently. (Usually, they would have overlapped by an hour as if to smite me.) You don't have to tell me nobody gives a crap. I've been dealing with that kind of stigma since I went there, about the men's team too. Some people might want to go, particularly the kinds of people who belong to the Explorer Club and go to everything La Salle related, regardless of title or gender. Your Blue and Gold motto is clever. How about this one for you: "Go if I give a shit which I don't, really." Or this one: "What a horrible embarrassment for La Salle University."
