Don't know what was wrong with the old design. I am sure Kevin Bonner and others put in a lot of work but I was happy the way it was. I am sure Kevin would appreciate feedback either positive, neutral or negative.

Maybe he can photoshop out the bad apostrophe in the ESPN sign in the crowd shot. Otherwise, looks nice and the dropdowns seem cleaner than the previous iteration.

I think sidearm sports has large amount of colleges on its network and they update the layout of all the sites on their network. I doubt La Salle could have kept the old site if they wanted to

I doubt La Salle could have kept the old site if they wanted to I'm pretty sure you're right. Still not a fan of the new design but it's not a big deal. The site is still a hundred times better than it was a couple years ago and they do a very good job with new content and updates.

The site seems to be moving towards a more mobile friendly environment. Long gone are the days when I had to call the goexplorers Kale Beers produced hotline from a payphone to find out if my team had won or lost the night before.
I would really like to see more of a listen by phone app in the future to supplement if not replace the AM broadcast. We already had it for at least one season, but it wasn't touted all that much, and there wasn't a dedicated app, so we had to find the right numbered station for that particular game day on tunedin.

Agree on the mobile app - but i have to say, watching the games on my phone while on the road made my life so much better this past winter, so big-time kudos continues for that.

The new design really needs some better ux. That huge banner up top should minimize when you scroll down to the content so that you can actually read the article. I am apparently upset by navigation that takes up 33% of my screen when it is in no way valuable to the user. Not sure anyone here has any impact on that though.
