CBS March Madness commercials feature Dunn jumping around from last year. Still makes me happy.

You accidentally drank it, the bottle broke, anything but that. In terms of the major ranked DIPAs, I don't think it's that amazing. Certainly very good, but not elite. havent had it, mostly due to some garbage luck. Did just do Pliny the Elder this past weekend though, waiting in line and all. Edit: I mean the Younger. Brain fart.

No A10 CBI or CIT teams... Sienna, Penn State, Stony Brook in CBI and Quinnipiac in CIT though. By my count, thats 16 games against opponents who made some form of a post-season tournament.

Timing was bad this year but I'm finding a way to get PtY next year. Elder is outstanding.

CIT is not for A-10 teams, there's never been one in it. It's for smaller conferences.
I read tonight that Richmond wouldn't go to the CBI because of injuries, (they've been playing only 7 guys) but would've gone NIT. After them, it would be us or the Bonnies, and who knows if we just weren't interested? That the thing about the CBI, you have to want to do it, and I think pay for a home game.
Honestly, in years past, I was all for going to whoever would have us, but I think it's probably just as well this season is over.

Does anyone know the last time a mid-major/non-power conference/non-BCS league got this many teams in the dance? 6 is one heck of an accomplishment. Has Jay Bilas chimed in yet?
And I'm still laughing at Butler's season.
BTW... Future A10er Davidson made the NIT.

Both Penn State and Siena got in with losing records, and La Salle has a higher RPI and SOS than 90% of the field. I don't think G has any interest in ever playing in the CBI, and I sort of agree that playing in it this season wouldn't be a great idea. But if La Salle had a freshman-sophomore dominated team, I would hope he would consider it. The Kevin Anderson teams at Richmond used the CBI for a couple years to prepare them for two years in the NCAA, including a Sweet 16 run. If it's good enough for them, it should be for La Salle. I wonder if the seniors were given a choice to play or not, because if they wanted to, you would hope La Salle would consider using some of that NCAA unit money to do it for them

To paraphrase George Orwell, "Some People are More Equal than Others."

Everything played out as expected except Saint Joe's took our spot in what everyone thought would be 6 A10 teams in the big dance. I would have picked the other 5 and us. Amazing what can happen in a year.
