La Salle almost grabbed the six seed, but Duquesne held on to beat scrappy Rhode Island. So now, La Salle settles for a seven seed, and will play the Bills in the first round. Winner of that game gets #2 Bonaventure, a team that La Salle already beat today.

La Salle now has wins over the 2 and 3 seeds, making us probably the most underrated 7 seed ever in the A10.

People will tell you in the preseason that this team was looking at a very long season. They played hard and got better as the season progressed. Add to that the misfortune of losing Lee. Congrats to the team and the staff. Great job Coach Williams. Good luck in A10's.
