Sunday afternoon game. 2 games in 3 days after a week off. Anyone know anything about CCSU?

I went to the CCSU game last year with friends when it was in Connecticut. Their coach is one of the best in the business, however, he has trouble recruiting against other larger programs in the state - especially UConn. Last year LaSalle played them early in the year, and I sent the LaSalle coaching staff an article before the game from the Hartford Courant about a talented CCSU freshman named Kyle Vinales who had just scored 39 points vs. Niagara. LaSalle overplayed Vinales in their game and kept him out of his normal shooting range. Vinales is back as a sophmore and the rest of the team is a lot of new faces.

I gotta be honest, this is a joke that I pay for this video and so far it is not been working for the first 6 minutes of either game.

CCSU is quick and can shoot. Jerrell has 10 and is killing down low.

Not the start we were looking for. Should be fully rested and healthy, no excuses today.

22-19 with 11:30. DJ has zero points but team has evened it up with him on the court and there's something to it. A lot less open looks for CCSU.

CCSU up 10. They are outquicking us and keeping us from getting in the lane. Vinales can ball.

I finally got the video also. Very dissapointing.
Our defense is playing awful. Our O continues to not make the extra pass.
We are giving this team a lot of confidence.

Doing a good job of trying to close this up late. I'm fine if we're only down 2 possessions at half.

stlex I am not satisfied with any part of this game because CCST is just a horrible basketball team. To play a half against this team and to be trailing is pathetic.

I agree 100% but you never want to be down 10 at half if we can be down 5 and chalk it up to a crappy half and rebound I'm fine

Half. CCSU up 48-44. Honestly could be worse. We really tightened it up late in the half.

Ugly, ugly first half but I'm glad the lead was cut towards the end.

Giving up 50 points to these guys in a half is a disgrace and says they just are not trying on one end of the floor no matter how you try and sugar coat it.

CCSU is far from horrible. They have a gameplan and are executing. They are shooting about 60% and on pace for 100 points. They are scoring in transition and on threes. But I think this is going to change and soon.

Out shot. Out executed. A lot of half ass man to man defense being played by our guys.
Hopefully their shooting comes to earth in the 2nd half and our guys wake up the D.
We have such personnel superiority that if we can not hit from downtown we should be able to move the game closer to the basket and score.

Fairfield gave up 63 points to these guys in a game with overtime, St Peter's gave up 60 points in a game and we gave them almost that in a half. Where is my pathetic statement unrealistic. By the way CCST lost both of those games. We should beat this team by 15-20 points but it is obvious that is not going to happen.

We need a nice run and make CCSU play from 2-3 possessions from behind
