MARK MY WORDS
Renee Washington and Kelsey Haycook just played the best game in their collective careers. The best two goalies in the A10 are on this team which is made even stronger by the best overall defense in the Atlantic 10. La Salle is ahead 14-1 over their last 6 matches (5-0-1). Kerri Aiken is playing great soccer on both sides of the ball, recently, with several goals being started by her runs.
Prediction: La Salle 2, Georgetown 0.

Georgetown defense is like the All-Big East Defensive team. They are very stingy. Hopefully our team is up to the challenge. Would be awesome for Rene to get another game winning goal. La Salle needs to hang around. The longer they hang in there the better it is for the underdog.
Secret weapon is Deja Davis. She hits rockets from distance. Maryam Huseini plays like a basketball point guard. She was excellent on Sunday. Hopefully she can set up some shots for others.

Yes, the Georgetown game will be shown on the screen in the tent and it is scheduled to run 1pm to 2:45pm. It is a perfect doubleheader for homecoming day.

Gtown was quick and it is difficult to force their mistakes. One goal in each half, 5 saves for the keeper. Limiting Georgetown to 7 Shots on Goal is a good showing for the defense... I want to check that but my gut tells me it is a season low for them (EDIT: the season low would have actually been 5, not 7). Congrats to the senior class which put La Salle on a top 50 level for the last 3 seasons. It was an incredible run and we are grateful they chose La Salle.

Obviously the basketball teams success got the press but really amazing the consistent success that women's soccer has had. Great job by the staff and team
